We look forward to welcoming prospective parents and students for Year 7 to the secondary site on Monday next week. Please note the change of timings for secondary students which are set out below.
It has come to our attention that some parents have not received recent communications which have been sent by the school via the MCAS (My Child at School) app. The app is the school’s main form of day-to-day communications with parents; therefore, it is important that all parents are receiving the information sent.
Over the last weeks we have sent the weekly newsletters (Friday 4th, 11th and 18th September), resources from Right Start parent sessions for Y7, Y10 and Y12 as well as messages regarding Y11 parents’ evening.
If you have not received these communications, please take the following actions to ‘enable’ push notifications:
- On an Apple phone, open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap Notifications (or tap Apps then select the specific app in newer iOS versions).
- Scroll down and select the app you want to change.
- Turn on the toggle for Allow Notifications
- On an Android phone, open the Settings app on your phone.
- Tap on Notifications, then select App notifications.
- Find the app you want (MCAS) in the list.
- Turn the toggle switch to On (it will turn blue or active).
- If necessary, please uninstall and reinstall the MCAS app and accept/enable push notifications when prompted.
Over the coming days we will send ‘Test’ messages to enable parents to check whether settings have been corrected to receive communications.
