A Level
We have a high success rate in terms of students’ progression, with this year having our highest ever percentage of over 65% A*-B grades, this year’s results see two thirds of Sydney Russell School students securing a Russell Group or top third university place, or their degree apprenticeship of choice.
Our commitment to unlocking every students’ potential is reflected in our broad A Level curriculum offer which ensures students are now ready to pursue higher education study and training in a range of fields, from finance and STEM to the arts, humanities and social sciences.
With over 230 A*-B grades, 88% of students securing an A*-C grade and an overall average grade B, these results are a credit to the students’ hard work, resilience and determination, and to the commitment of our staff, whose expertise and ambition for our young people has ensured each student achieves their full potential.

GCSE/BTEC
With over 650 grades 7-9, alongside increased numbers of students securing passes in both English and Maths, our students are celebrating the highest levels of success across the breadth of our curriculum.
69.85% of students attained Grades 4+ in English and Maths, with 54.56% of students achieving Grades 5+.
We consistently achieve above national average on pass rate and are constantly hitting the top of the borough league tables in performance and attainment.
