Welcome back to a new school year! I hope you and your families enjoyed the long summer break and feel recharged and refreshed for the new academic year ahead.
It has been wonderful to welcome students back over the past few days and see them quickly settle into school life again.
A warm welcome to our new students and the families whose children have newly joined our school community - we are delighted to be working with you and your child to support them to achieve, thrive and be the best version of themselves.
Each week this newsletter will provide updates on what has been going on in school that week, celebrating our students' achievements and keeping you informed.
If you ever have a query or concern, please call reception to have a message sent to the relevant member of staff, or email office@sydneyrussellschool.com for your query to be directed to the appropriate staff member swiftly. If you ever have a safeguarding concern, please email safeguarding@sydneyrussellschool.com
I ask that you are mindful of the arrangements we have for meetings with parents - appointments for which must be made in advance. I also ask that, no matter the query, you treat our school staff and fellow members of the school community respectfully at all times.
Please familiarise yourself with the school policies and the information available on the school website to ensure you understand our ways of working in order to best support your child.
