I hope you all enjoyed a restful half-term break; we have had a very good start to the second half of the autumn term this week, with a busy few weeks ahead including some key assessments, whole school events and celebrations and our countdown to Christmas!

Whilst we know the weather has changed, the temperatures have dropped a bit and the seasons of sniffles and colds is upon us, we want our students to show their resilience and determination to be in school every day, through which they can be included in our Christmas Countdown draw to reward their efforts. Every day in school matters. So, please set a goal with you child for them to have as close to 100% attendance as possible, this half-term and every half-term.

Next week, as a school and country, we will commemorate Remembrance Day. On Wednesday 11th November at 11am, we will join the nation in marking a two-minute silence as we commemorate those who gave their lives for our freedom. This poignant commemoration is always an important reminder of the freedom we enjoy thanks to the sacrifice of others.

Have a lovely weekend.
