As we end the first and longest half-term of the academic year, we have a lot to celebrate. It has been an extremely positive start to the year; students have been working hard in their learning, working hard in supporting each other and really showing their respect for the school's values and expectations, with the overwhelming majority of students being on time for school every day and really being the best versions of themselves in all they do.

Our students are always a credit to us and it has been wonderful to, once again, have many examples over the last eight weeks, of visitors to the school, as well as those in the wider community, going out of their way to praise and acknowledge their respectful attitudes and positive engagement.

Well done on this brilliant start - let's keep it going all year!

As we break for the holiday, I wish you all a restful week and hope you have the chance to relax and recharge, ready for a successful second half of the term as we run up to Christmas, which is always a very special time at SRS.

A reminder that school is closed for the holiday tomorrow, Friday 23rd October.

We look forward to seeing everyone back in school at normal times on Monday 2nd November.

Have a lovely week.
