It has been our first full week and great to see everyone immersing themselves in the lessons and making an exceptionally positive start to the new term.
We welcome our EYFS (Reception) children and their families who started their first sessions this week. Congratulations to all of our youngest learners for the brilliant way in which you have listened to your teachers, started to make new friends and already showing us how much you love learning.
This week, I had the pleasure of celebrating a former student, Hollie Ridley, who has excelled in her political career and now steps down from her role as General Secretary of the Labour Party. Hollie is an example to us all of what our hard work, ambition and determination can achieve. She has proudly represented Dagenham in everything thing she has done and the values she has stood for, and we couldn't be prouder of her. You can read more about Hollie here:
