Today sees the completion of the first full week of exams for our Year 11 students as this summer's exam season gets into full swing. The students in Year 11 and Year 13 have worked incredibly hard over the past months and years in preparation for the coming weeks, and we are confident that they have the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
Over the coming weeks we will continue to support them in school through revision guidance, study spaces and encouragement. When they are studying at home, now is the time to make sure they are eating well, getting rest and feeling the support of all around them as they focus to achieve their best. This huge team effort will, I am sure, mean celebrations in August. We wish all our Year 11 and Year 13 students the very best of luck and success.
This week we held the inaugural SRS Talent Show, fully student-led, under the careful direction of Zeeshan, Student Principal, and the Student Leadership Team. It was a fantatsic event and thoroughly professional in its production. I would like to also highlight the strong calibre of the entries which made the judges decision a tough one. Thank you to all involved who made the evening such a success - here's to next year!
We have a lovely long weekend ahead, with a Bank Holiday on Monday, so we look forward to seeing everyone back at normal times on Tuesday 5th May.
