Last Friday, Sydney Russell proudly hosted our third Grand Iftar, bringing members of our school community together. Students and parents observing Ramadan joined us to break their fast, enjoy delicious food, and spend time connecting with one another.

A Grand Iftar is a large-scale, often public, community event held during Ramadan to break the daily fast at sunset, fostering inclusivity, unity, and charity among Muslims and non-Muslims.

The event was a wonderful success and reflected the dedication and teamwork of the staff and students who helped organise it. They are a real credit to our school. With around 200 people in attendance, it was a fantastic evening filled with community spirit, and part of the money raised was donated to Save the Children UK.

✨ Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a special and memorable occasion for our school community!
