Dear Parent/Carer
This half-term has flown by. Our young people have adapted well to the new systems in place to minimise the risk of coronavirus transmission and keep us all safe. We have had to ask some students and staff to self-isolate over the course of the half term as we were informed of some positive cases but these numbers remain small. There remains a glad to be back feeling across the whole school.
The safety of our young people and our staff is my first priority. I closely monitor the local coronavirus infection rate and the guidance from the DFE and Public Health and continue to look for your support should it become necessary to make changes at short notice. We started this academic year with a staggered start to the school day. This will need to continue however there will be some changes to the start time for years 7-10 following their return to school after half term on 2nd November 2020.There will be no changes to the rest of their day and their finishing time remains the same.
